Abstract

Exercises are important for learning. An individual exercise might be of the sort:

Working alone, write an essay on some hypermedia-like system. Analyze what you did from the theoretical perspective as captured in the book. Describe what kinds of tools you used and why.

A good way to learn the material about groups and organizations involves working with groups and organizations. In the classes in which this book has been used at the Univerisity of Liverpool, the students all worked on the MUCH system and their exercises were submitted via the MUCH system.
