Abstract
In this chapter we examine some features that are not present in the definition of KOOL used so far. This chapter is composed of three independent sections, respectively devoted to imperative features, to the use of a unique form of application, and to signatures. As we discussed at the end of Chapter 3, these features have been omitted from KOOL since they are not necessary for the study of the foundation of object-oriented programming. However, because of their undeniable practical interest, we show in this chapter how they can be included in KOOL and how they can be intuitively interpreted in our model.
