Various topics of practical interest which relate to the previous chapters and are of applicable nature are considered. They pertain to the recent developments in the areas of poroelasticity, heat conduction and heat and mass transfer, thermoelasticity, neutron diffusion in reactor physics, and biomechanics, where the analysis involves different branches of scientific and technological disciplines.
