The Large Pupil Case: The ESSEFEM Multislit Spectrograph

In 1986, we equipped the CFH 3.60m telescope with the ESSEFEM multislit spectrograp (Figure 1), the detector being the CP40, the photon-counting camera from CERGA observatory, a camera designed by BLAZIT [1].
