Mechanisms of Woody Plant Defenses Against Insects

Abstract

The scale,Matsucoccus feytaudi. was the primary cause of mortality of about 120,000 hectares of cluster pine stands,Pinus pinaster, from 1962 to 1980 (Carle 1973, Riom 1980) in Provence (Southern France).
