Abstract
I would like to review for you one of my special interests, monstrocellular sarcoma, a tumor entity which appears in the WHO classification under two terms: (a) giant cell glioblastoma or (b) monstrocellular type of sarcoma. In the older literature this tumor has been variously referred to as: ganglioglioneuroma, ganglioneuroma, spongioblastoma multiforme ganglioides, spongioastroblastoma, spongioneuroblastoma and retothelial sarcoma (reticulosarcoma).
