Abstract

Air and oxygen can be mixed together to provide an air/oxygen mixture with varying fractions of inspired oxygen (FIO2). This program determines the air and oxygen flows needed to achieve a selected flow of an air/oxygen mixture at a desired FIO2. It should be useful wherever oxygen therapy is given using air and oxygen flow meters.
