Abstract
From the study of the five main characteristics of offending (participation, frequency, variety, gravity, and violence) it has been possible to give, in chapter 3, an overall picture of the criminal activity of our subjects. Another approach remains to be explored, a boundary perspective. This approach has appeared fairly recently in criminology. It focuses on continuous criminal activity, particularly between adolescence and youth. It is primarily interested in the appearance, the duration, and the extinction of offending.
