Abstract

This construct was designed as a measure of early temperament and development. The two indicators were scales based on retrospective parent report from the son’s early history questionnaire. The first indicator assessed anger, activity level, and compliance from birth to 5 years old. The second indicator assessed the extent to which the parents were concerned that their son had developmental problems. The two indicators showed good convergence, correlating .49.
