Abstract
During the past 20 years there has been substantial development in upper-extremity prosthetic components for children and teenagers. Some of the devices presented in this chapter were designed at the Child Amputee Prosthetics Project (CAPP) at the University of California-Los Angeles. Others are the result of research done in other countries or elsewhere in the United States.
