Abstract

Now that you’ve had a chance to sample some of the most common features of vi, let’s examine some of those features in more detail. In this chapter we’ll look at ways to insert, change, and delete text. Let’s start by beginning a new session and getting acquainted with the various ways of moving the cursor around the display window.
