Diagnostic Process in Hospitalized Pediatric Patients

Although much emphasis is placed on the need to establish a diagnosis, both in undergraduate and graduate education, very little information is present in the medical literature concerning the outcome of the diagnostic process, particularly among a group of consecutive hospital admissions.
