Abstract

I met Larry Weed and the concept of the Problem Oriented Medical Record as a medical Student at Case Western Reserve University Medical School in 1963. The logic and elegance of that system were apparent to me then, and in the 27 years that I have been using it in clinical practice I have not heard an argument against it that holds up.
