Part of the Santa Cruz Summer Workshops in Astronomy and Astrophysics book series (SANTA CRUZ)

A suggestion of possible origin and nature of light nimba around the line of observation of Super Nova 1987A was made in our paper (FILYUKOV [1]). The phenomenon was first observed by CROTTS [2] and later by others (ROSA [3], HEATHCOTE et al. [6]). Here some explanations of given suggestion are presented and qualitative consequences are discussed.
