Abstract

The multimedia health promotion programs of The Healthy Touch® Series from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston (UTMB) have been incorporated into the health information section of the Denver Free-Net (DFN), located at the University of Colorado Health Science Center (UCHSC) in Denver. The multimedia programs are accessible in the OUTREACH Network sites located in rural Southwestern Colorado and Northwestern Colorado. The OUTREACH (On-Line Urban to Rural Education and Community Health) Network, whose goal is to “expand and augment rural health care services through a set of user-friendly community computing systems,” is the link to the programs from each of the rural community locations.
