Abstract

We have heard a concise summary of the state-of-the-art in body composition techniques and applications, in 30 chapters of excellent exchange from a faculty that is representative of the strongest programs in the world, with the notable exception of our Down Under colleagues, who have more body composition groups per capita than any other continent. Consider their absence as evidence of humility on the part of the organizers, who made no international boasts, and the cost of travel. This was just a Symposium, not a World Congress.
