Abstract
In subsection 1.5.6 we considered the concept of superpopulation models in finite population sampling and introduced its uses in finding the average variance of a strategy for comparison among several strategies. The approach there was necessarily based on a fixed population model, as we had to confine to strategies having some desirable properties, like unbiasedness, admissibility, sufficiency, suggested by a fixed population set up.
