Head and Neck Reconstruction with the Temporal Muscle

  • McKay McKinnon

Abstract

This 7-year-old girl presented with a left orbital rhabdomyosarcoma that persisted despite chemotherapy and radiotherapy (Figure 3.1a). There was no evidence of bone involvement by computed tomographic (CT) scan, and the tumor appeared to be confined to the intraconal tissues. There was moderate proptosis of the globe and considerable ptosis of the upper lid.
