Abstract
OpenSteps object classes are divided into two frameworks. The higher-level framework, the Application Kit, contains classes specifically for running an application with a graphical user interface. It builds on the classes of the Foundation Framework, a more general framework that defines core object functionality, basic data and collection types, a distributed object system, and other general program functionality.
