Abstract
This chapter concerns a real industrial application built with Scilab for the E.D.F., the French electrical utility. This application is the result of cooperation with E.D.F.-L.N.H1 and is based on the Ph.D. thesis of H. Jreij [38]. Here Scilab is used to support a menu-driven integrated tool named Metal-ido for the analysis and automatic control of hydraulic equipment along a river valley.
