Scilab is a powerful interactive programming environment that greatly facilitates the task of numerical computation and data analysis. Scilab’s main features are:

a data environment

data abstraction

transparent data types

a large collection of built-in primitive functions

a suite of Scilab coded function toolboxes

integrated graphics
