Abstract

To force a small space at the end of slanted/italicized text. If you stick to \text… commands like textit{…} or I textsl{…}, the text in the argument should be fine without adjustments. But, if need be, you can use \/ at the change from italicized/slanted text to upright text, unless the upright character is a punctuation mark.
