Abstract

Earthquakes tell us about the violence that exists in the interior of the earth. Very violent and rapid events obviously occur, but the reasons for these events are not yet fully understood, and many apparent anomalies remain unexplained. I believe that the deep-earth gas theory can go a long way toward developing a new, more comprehensive, and more useful theory of this phenomenon.
