Magnetic Field Error of a Current Dipole in a Superconducting Shield

Abstract

When we detect a current dipole in a brain in a superconducting shield, the image of the current dipole formed by the wall of the superconducting shield might give a considerable change to the magnetic field because the superconducting shield has a small dimension of 90cm in diameter. This also might result in localization errors of the current dipole. In this paper we evaluate the magnetic field of the image and estimate the contribution of the image field to the field of the current dipole.
