Repair of Coarctation of the Aorta

Abstract

Coarctation of the aorta is a congenital narrowing of the aorta, with the narrowing usually located adjacent to the ductus arteriosus or ligamentum arteriosum. Less commonly, congenital narrowing of the aorta may be recognized anywhere in the aorta.
