Abstract
To maximize your chances of matching to the residency, you must understand what residencies are looking for and package yourself accordingly. No, this is not to suggest that you should be someone you are not. Fibbing by either party will result in disappointment on both sides. It is about packaging, advertising, and marketing your strengths. It is about finding a match between you and the residency. To do this requires some sense of what they are seeking and how they go about the process. This glimpse can help crystallize an image of what you should be seeking from them as well.
