Part of the Applied Mathematical Sciences book series (AMS, volume 45)

In this chapter we shall illustrate how the techniques of semi-infinite programming can be used for the computational treatment of nontrivial problems in a practical context. We remind the reader that important applications have been discussed elsewhere in the book, e.g. in §6, §7, §19 and §20.
