Abstract
This last chapter (whew!) is centered around the creation of Win32 applications: how to use the SDK tools; which points have been modified and what should you pay special attention to? Thereby the most important SDK components are covered; also the generation of both GUI and text mode programs is described. A detailed trip to the creation of DLLs and the use of shared data sections as well as the dynamic allocation of shared memory areas in DLLs shows you all the necessary changes in this domain. Afterwards I want to give a few remarks about the Win32 C/C++ tools from Borland and the new Visual C++ for Windows NT and 95. Last but not least, improvements for Win32 developers to be expected in the near future conclude the chapter.
