The Stuff Moves Around

  • James B. Seaborn

Abstract

Cosmology, as the term itself suggests, is a study of the cosmos—the universe— especially those aspects that have to do with its origin, its large scale structure, and its evolution. We shall consider these lofty notions more carefully toward the end of our study here. In the meantime, we shall look at smaller-scale features of the universe, particularly the structure and evolution of stars and, closer to home, the star system of which we are a part—our solar system.
