Thermodynamic Modeling of High Temperature Melts and Phase Diagram Calculations

  • Chapter
Materials Chemistry at High Temperatures

Part of the book series: Materials Chemistry at High Temperatures ((MCHT,volume 1))

Abstract

Thermodynamic modeling was reviewed for different classes of high temperature melts: symmetrical and asymmetrical, binary and multicomponent, ionic mixtures, and also those systems that contain at least one covalent component. Applications to phase diagram calculation are presented.
