L-Q-R Approach to a Class of Non Well Posed Parabolic Systems

Abstract

The problem of the reconstruction of the initial condition and forcing term in a parabolic equation from measurements of the final-time value is reduced to two different L-Q-R problems, solved by means of the corresponding Riccati equations.
