H∞-control with measurement-feedback
In this chapter we present the main result of the book: the state-space solution to the sub-optimal H ∞-control problem with measurement-feedback for Pritchard-Salamon systems. Under some regularity assumptions and some simplifying assumptions (the a priori assumptions), we show in Section 5.1 that the existence of a dynamic measurement-feedback that solves the H ∞-control problem is equivalent to the solvability of two coupled Riccati equations. In the case that the problem is solvable, we give a parametrization of all (sub-optimal) controllers that solve the problem.
