Abstract
Bronchial asthma is, as the name implies, a disease affecting the bronchial tubes. Asthma is an inflammation of the lining of your bronchial tubes. Air enters the chest through the trachea, commonly called the “windpipe.” The trachea then divides into the right and left mainstem bronchi. These tubes themselves divide again and again to form many hundreds of tiny bronchial tubes or bronchioles. Strands of muscles encircle the bronchial tubes.
