Abstract
Fibrous dysplasia is a benign deforming lesion involving one or several bones in which the structure of bone is replaced with altered osteofibrous tissue. It appears in a mono or polyostotic form. Treatment is based on biphosphonates and also by surgery when deformed bones occur.
