Abstract
The main purpose of this chapter is to give a concise presentation of significant features of the Balanced charge theory (BCT) with minimal technical details and to compare it with classical electromagnetic theory and quantum mechanics. We show that the dynamics of charges in point-like regimes is governed by Newton’s equations with the Lorentz forces. The BCT also describes basic quantum effects, in particular, the discreteness of the energy levels in the Hydrogen atom and the main features of the de Broglie wave theory.
