Abstract
Cryosurgery tips adapt to the end of the units to deliver cryogens. They can be open or closed. Open tips have apertures of different diameters that permit the outwards flow of liquid nitrogen (LN). Spray needles are a type of open tip. Closed tips are at the end of internally circulating probes that vent backwards. Cryochambers work as a sort of closed system when pressed over an area or lesion to treat.
