Abstract

In the previous chapter, a unified view of manufacturing scheduling has been given. Furthermore, we have also outlined that manufacturing scheduling is not carried out in an isolated manner, but as part of a set of interrelated decisions—collectively known as production management—dealing with efficiently ensuring the delivery of goods provided by the company.
