Abstract
Traumatic loss of ear tissue can be difficult to reconstruct. The location and extent of the deformity can range from partial amputation to total loss. It is vital to be thoroughly conversant with the complex three-dimensional topography of the external ear when carrying out ear reconstruction. A variety of procedures are available to address different clinical presentations. These are described.
