Abstract

Ileofemoral access complications are less commonly encountered in an era of increasing transradial intervention. Femoral access site complications vary significantly from minor haematomas to life-threatening bleeding and vascular rupture. Operators need to be able to be able to predict, prevent and where necessary treat ileofemoral access site complications when they do occur.
