Abstract
The song-and-dance duet, as one of the most important national folk music in China, gives a full expression on a highly profound artistic philosophic theory by relying on the easy-to-understand and quite frank languages which are contained within it. Beyond all doubts, this national folk music of China is definitely a conclusion and a quintessence of the practical experiences of the artists who lived in the previous time with an in-depth, and is the essence of the art of the song-and-dance duet in northeast of China. In this paper, by conducting an interpretation and study on the rhymed formula, the artistry values as well as the esthetics values of the song-and-dance duet folk music are brought by the author to light.
