Abstract
Cerebral vasospasm is caused by subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) most often secondary to aneurysm rupture. Other less common causes of SAH include hemorrhage from an arteriovenous malformation, vasculitis, reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome as well as cerebral trauma.
