Abstract
You are a disaster response coordinator working with a large multinational NGO. As you finish the final touches on your latest paper on Disaster Management Theory, news breaks through your contacts abroad of a large earthquake taking place. You switch on the radio and news reports state that an earthquake measuring 7.5 on the Richter scale has occurred in a developing country in the Caribbean. Initial information is scarce, but multiple casualties are expected. After a quick meeting with your director, you are tasked with preparing and organizing a response and making sure it is delivered on the ground. You imagine that this will also eventually involve post-disaster recovery. Your logistics team contacts you asking what the disaster zone requires.
