Abstract

This chapter discusses the details of configuration of dynamic routing protocols. It starts with a procedure to configure RIP, and then gets to the more complicated, Cisco-proprietary, EIGRP. The chapter then discusses OSPF protocol configuration starting from single-area to the more complicated multiple-area OSPF configuration in simple and clear steps. A simplified Integrated IS–IS configuration procedure is also introduced in this chapter. The chapter is concluded with load balancing configurations for various dynamic routing protocols.
