Abstract
The problem of identifying an unknown system given samples of its behaviour is well-known [Söderström and Stoica, 1987, Kaiman, 1990, Ljung, 1999] to be ill-posed in the sense of Hadamard [Hadamard, 1964], as its solution is neither unique nor depends continuously on the given data.
