Abstract
Treatment of hemorrhoids can be by sclerotherapy, rubber band ligation, cryotherapy, infrared coagulation, ultroid therapy,* bipolar diathermy (BICAP), or surgical excision by various techniques. One should employ the most appropriate treatment option according to the indications that have already been described. This chapter will focus on the complications of surgical hemorrhoidectomy.
