Abstract
The Corporate Security Officer is responsible for the protection of corporate assets. Since information and information systems are some of the most vital corporate assets, the duties of the Corporate Security Officer also include some aspects of their protection. This chapter addresses the Corporate Security Officer’s responsibilities for the protection of corporate assets and their relationship to information assurance.
