Applying for ethics committee approval and research grants

  • Chapter
Biomedical Research

Abstract

If the plans for your research include applying for funds, the application form will ask if you have ethical approval for it. To get ethical approval you will have to apply to the Ethics Committee of the institution in which you plan to do the research. Consideration of ethical approval therefore comes before the grant application.

Ethics and science need to shake hands. Richard C Cabot (1868–1939)
