Abstract
Aims
-
• To demonstrate the need for dynamic management, identifying those circumstances under which it is required.
-
• To familiarise the reader with the implementation of dynamic memory management in C++.
-
• To demonstrate the application of dynamic memory management techniques to the implementation of linked lists.
-
• To make the reader aware of the close connection between (a) constructors and destructors and (b) operators new and delete when objects are created and destroyed dynamically.
