Abstract

The first two chapters of this book explored the emergence of the digital cordless telephone marketplace during the late 1980s and the resulting proprietary products. The Telepoint concept, which formed an integral part of these developments, is a major step towards bringing mobile communications services to the mass market. This chapter presents perspectives on Telepoint from different European countries.
