Abstract

At operation for pelvic hydronephrosis in children, the most common findings are pelviureteric angulations of various types. These are unquestionably themselves obstructive, but whether they are the primary lesion or secondary developments has long been the subject of argument. Several morphological anomalies have been described and a variety of pathological concepts have been preferred.
